Student Ministry Update – 12.11.19
Good evening!
As we approach the end of the year, I wanted to provide a few
important updates for everyone.
December 14 – Work in the Youth Room
As you know, we got the approval for money to finish the large
room in the annex. On Saturday, after
men’s breakfast, Josh is going to begin the process of putting up the tables,
stools, and building the wall behind the stage.
If you are interested, we will begin around 10am and will likely
continue throughout the day Saturday.
You don’t need a lot of construction knowledge, just the willingness to work

December 18 – Student Ministry Christmas Party!
This year’s Christmas Party will be a little different. Normally, we are collecting items for a ministry
during our Christmas party. But, this
year, our ministry commitment for the year is the “Ogburn 8”. We had hoped to get a sense of a bunch of
small gifts like socks, toys, and other items that the kids needed before the
Christmas season. But, with the onset of
sicknesses and the priority of finalizing the adoption process, we don’t yet
have that information. So, we will plan
a “Christmas in January” or “Christmas in February” – whenever we are able to get
that information from The Ogburns. So, what
will happen next week?

We are excited that the youth band will lead us
in worship

We will close out the Apostle’s Creed series
-
We will celebrate the Christmas season with some
light snacks
